Welcome to NJ SERV Fest! On August 20, 2016, we will be hosting a service-oriented festival at the Morristown National Historic Park. This event was created to showcase the amazing philanthropic work done by the individuals in our community in an effort to grow volunteerism and celebrate service! With these selfless and generous local organizations, along with your helping hands, improving the community can be achieved and is of vital importance for societal development and individual progression. Therefore, on this eventful day, NJ SERV Fest will bring the public together to engage with local non-profits in meeting the needs of others. Participants will get to enjoy hands-on service projects, celebrate student achievements, visit exhibits, watch performances and indulge in great food and family fun activities - all for a small donation of a new or gently used plush toy, book, or non perishable food item!It is the mission of NJ SERV Fest to promote genuine and generous volunteerism to enhance community well-being. This event will allow multiple philanthropic organizations to interact with people of all ages to raise awareness of various ways to get involved and ultimately grow much needed, communal support in a fun manner. The money, materials, and aid that will be raised from events like NJ SERV Fest will help foundations around the state build stronger communities. With your help we will not only be able to raise awareness of ways to improve society, but will also be able to enhance so many lives by pooling together individual efforts and resources! We can't wait to see you there!
